I'm back!

It’s been awhile. I kind of forgot I had a blog. Oopsies, sorry guys! It’s not that I’ve actually been busy, it’s that I just plain forgot. I'm still alive, just living and forgetting!
All I’ve been doing is attempting to ride, attempting to be a beast in weights which resulted in injury making it so I could not ride, homework, and trying to stay sane with the idiots I have come into contact with on a daily basis.

Lets go back to the attempting to ride. The weather warmed up. I had a lesson at the beginning of the month. Then it was freezing again. Then when riding HotRod hit a rock with his gimpy hoof, so I couldn’t ride till he got shoes on. Then I would ride HotRod when I could. Again the weather plays a really big role in this. BUT! We are making progress. His showmanship is so great right now! I might actually enjoy that class this season. My main goals with HotRod are to qualify for the state WAHSET meet and to go to Tulsa, Oklahoma to the American Buckskin Registry Association World Show. People say HotRod and I have a great potential to be world champions, now that’s just surreal to me right now. I must say, HotRod is a wonder horse. I don’t know what he won’t do for me! He’s carried flags at rodeos, shows, lets me throw a rope off him, drag logs, little kids can ride him, he goes English and western, loves trail, follows me everywhere, and loves his horse trailer! We have a show on March 5 in Moses Lake.

Now school. For the semester I got a 3.97 GPA! That’s the highest since I’ve been in high school. I had A’s from every teacher except my English teacher. Which I’m not too for sure why it was an A-. Oh well, I’ve got my GPA up from last year which is all that matters.

Weights. I have that first period. I love lifting. We do maxes to see how much we can lift. We do these once a month. Well my teacher decided he wanted us to max out on box-squat. It’s where the weight is on your shoulders and you sit down on the stool and stand back up. The first day I did 180 pounds. He kept wanting me to do more, but class was over. Then a couple days later he was getting the rest of the class to do their maxes. He said Wieldraayer can you do more, I said I doubt I can, he told me that he wanted to see. So we threw 195 pounds on, I sat and there was no way I was getting up. So I set it on the catchers. We put 190 on. I sat, stood up, but when I stepped away I noticed my back hurt, but didn’t think anything of it. Only the pain never went away. Told my mom and she didn’t think too much about it till I wanted to come home early the next day because of the pain. So she took me down to the PA in Royal. He said it’s most likely a lower lumbar strain, but wanted x-rays to be sure there was no compression fracture. This all started on a Wednesday, doctor Thursday and then Friday I had to get my x-rays, after I went to a farm auction with my dad. The x-ray showed everything was fine and dandy! Just no lifting for a week. So this week I haven’t been lifting. This whole thing has made riding very hard and painful.

Health. This class is waste of time. The teacher is LARGE. I don’t understand how she is qualified to teach a health class. She’s had just about every health problem you could think of. I know you’re not suppose to discriminate against weight, but in the case of a health class teacher there needs to be some charge taken. This teacher is supposed to teach us to be healthy, make healthy choices and learn healthy habits. I don’t see how having to look at and listen to a highly obese woman. She waddles, she doesn’t walk. Her arms are disgusting. I giggle when I actually look at her while she talks because her chin fat just jiggles! Now because of that I rarely look at her. I can’t even respect her as a health teacher because she has obviously not made healthy choices in her life. I also don’t think that after teaching children’s parents she should openly go on and on about how the parent never acted the way their child does in class. Well hello lady! It’s a whole new generation! I think some people just need to be forced to retire. It stupid how long they allow some individuals to teach. I mean seriously! There comes a point when someone just needs to be told no, you can not return this school you, we are forcing you to retire! I already know that the choices I make aren’t going to be based on anything this lady has told/taught me. What my parents have taught me is much much more useful this class. I don’t understand why it’s a graduations requirement.
