More boring...

I have no idea what to blog about. So I asked my buddy Bart, he said to write about how awesome he is, well, Bart is. He races and he's one of my best friends.

Alright 'nough about him. Semester ends on Tuesday. That's dreaded. I'm passing with A's and B's. Although I won't know till the grades come out next week or the week after.

I did get to ride my horsey on the 17 and yesterday. I didn't have school on the 17. So dad hauled HotRod and I down to Othello to an indoor arena where my friend Gemma boards her horse. It ended up only being a 20 minute drive. I had a blast! HotRod and I hadn't rode in 2 months. He didn't buck or anything. He's just chubby, out of shape and form. Then yesterday mom took us down to Othello again to ride with Gemma. HotRod was great, just didn't like it when the neighbor started up his weed-eater. I think he was afriad that the guy was going to come into the arena and mistake him for a bush, I mean HotRod is pretty darn woolie! Mom and I are hoping to be able to get HotRod and I out and riding lots more since we have WAHSET in March. There is a schooling show though before that. First weekend in March is the first show outing. It'll be fun. We cleaned up last year at this show, hopefully we have the same good luck!! Pretty soon I'll put HotRod's big blanket on him to get him to shed out his woolies!

I really wish I had more interesting things to write/blog about, but I don't, so I apologize!

So, I take pictures?!

This semester I've been in a photography class at school. I have very much enjoyed that class! Probably my favorite out of my seven everyday. So here are some of my pictures...

I'll get more up at another time, my internet can't exactly handle the uploading. Hope you like them!

The first week back to school after the holiday is over. FINALLY! The semester is almost over, which means we're almost half way through the school year! Thank gosh! I'm just getting sick and tired of some of my teachers. Well, I've been sick and tired of the one since the first day of school. What this school needs a few new teachers to replace these ones that are going bonkers. I mean come on, the one has been here long enough to have taught my friends parents. Typical small town story, no one leaves and if they do, they just come back. I'm loosing track again. My math is slightly harder then I can do, but that's not terrible, there are worse things that could happen. I'll pass the Advanced Algebra and move on. Atleast we're moving onto a new chapter, which I should be able to handle since we did Parabola's in 8th grade. English is basically spoon fed to us, which I don't exactly love. That's only because I like to be able to do things on my own and work at my pace which is a bit faster then the others. Our last paper I turned in a day early and my teacher didn't understand why I wanted it in. Well I just wanted to be done. I had about four things to change, so I did them at home and turned it in the next morning. My photography class has been a learning experience. I love taking pictures, the editing is also pretty darn fun. I've put together some pretty neat surreal images, I'll try to get them up here. I'm not going to talk about biology because that's the teacher I'm sick of. Horticulture is slightly awful, only because no one shuts up and our teacher has never taught it before. It's a joke. Office User is great, I get my assignments done. Weights is alright, my max weights are increases which is good!

This school year really needs to be over. Not that it's been terrible, I'm just ready to move on to new and brighter things. I want those hot summer days where my sister and I ride our horses in our pajamas, then eat popsicles all day, then maybe ride again in the evening. I'm usually bareback on HotRod, I eventually end up barefoot too. That's what I miss right now. I think HotRod misses it too. Oh well, WAHSET will start soon! I'm excited for that, my horse and I work so much better together then we did last year and fingers crossed he doesn't come up with a hurt hoof at a meet again.

The FBLA winter conference is coming up. I'm doing public speaking. Aye. I'll be fine. I know I will. It's impromptu. Just tell them what they want to hear. Probably won't make it to State, but it's the experience that counts. I just hope that the parter speaking I have to do we do well. Only because the kid in partners with is way too excited for this and wants to go to state. The week of the conference will another one of those weeks where I go to 3 days of class. I'll also be attending the Ag Expo in Spokane. I entered a few photos in the photography contest. One of my entries earned an honorable mention! I was shocked! They sent me tickets, so dad, mom and I will make a day trip to the Expo! It shall be fun!

Hockey!

My first hockey game was on January 1, 2011! Woot Woot! Now that was fun! I was in row 3! Pretty darn close to the rink!
I finally got to hang out with my buddies Riley and Glenn! They are a crack up, not kidding. Just hope Glenn doesn't start tickling you, uh oh, I just about ended up in Riley's lap! Oh well, to say the least they're great guys, awesome friends and a blast to hang out with!
Back to hockey! Since the Wild got 6 points I get free pizza! Well actually everyone with a ticket does. Thank you PizzaHut!! I had never been to a hockey game, so it was pretty exciting for me. The way those guys skate is incredible and to think some are my age! Goodness gracious! What I don't understand is the fighting. I've watched quite a bit of sports and many different ones in my day and never have I seen so much fighting between the players! The refs don't even have to stop it! It's ridiculous! The crowd loves it, but my response to it all was "someone could have been seriously injured", that just made Riley laugh and Glenn wonder bout me. Oh well! The puffy animal things walking around scared the tar outa me. You see, I don't really like mascots or blow-up people things. They just kind of, well frighten me! Not even kidding you. So it was almost tourcher whenever the Wild's mascot, Walt, came near. Glenn thought it would be hilarious if he came over, I had to elbow him in the ribs a few times. Then at one point two of the blow-up animal creatures were by us, one on each aisle, oh boy, I was almost beside myself! It was horrible!

Now tomorrow I go back to school. That will be just LOADS of FUN! NOT! I already know I have to get to school early to talk to my math teacher. Oh well, I have to go, I'm almost half-way through the school year, I'm counting down till when WAHSET starts and school ends. Those are my favorite times! It's just too darn cold to be riding right now, but I'll occasionally take HotRod out and walk him like he's a dog, he's such a good horse. I couldn't ask for a better one. He's a fuzzy monster just like the other two horses. Slick is the fuzziest of them all. Hopefully the temperature will rise some so mom, dad and I can take my horses to Moses Lake to the Fairgrounds to ride in the indoor arena and so I can start lessons again up north of Ephrata. I really want to get back in the routine of riding lessons and horse shows!

The First Entry

Here goes nothin'! I guess I'll have a blog?! So now not only will I be hopelessly addicted to facebook but also to blogging. Ugh! Oh well, it'll be fun! My sister started a blog and well my mom said she didn't care if I had one too. So I put one together! The real reason, the movie "Julie & Julia" really got the idea in my head about having a blog. I've thought it could be fun. It's like a diary...that other people read! Ha! This is will probably end up being all about my horses, HotRod and Slick. But who cares right? It's my blog!

Well, that'll be it for this one!
